Summary
This study aims to adapt a proven suicide prevention program for people with alcohol use disorder in Tanzania, where mental health resources are scarce. Researchers will enroll 30 adults who drink heavily and have had recent suicidal thoughts, then test whether the telehealth intervention is acceptable and practical to deliver in an emergency department setting. The goal is to gather information for a larger future study.
