New guard program aims to stop soldier suicides before they happen
NCT ID NCT07032636
Summary
This study is testing whether an enhanced training program for National Guard leaders can help prevent suicide and crises among soldiers. The program teaches leaders how to have better conversations with their soldiers, spot signs of distress, and provide support. Researchers will compare the enhanced program to the standard training to see which works better at improving unit morale and reducing suicide risk factors.
