Sweet relief? study tests Sugar-Free solution to ease Kids' dental pain

NCT ID NCT07279285

Summary

This study aims to see if applying a sugar-free, sweet-tasting solution before a dental numbing shot helps reduce pain for children. Researchers will compare the solution to plain water in 54 children aged 6-12 who need routine dental work. They will measure pain using child reports, observer ratings, and heart rate monitoring during the procedure.
