Sweet relief? study tests Sugar-Free solution to ease Kids' dental shot pain
NCT ID NCT07279285
Summary
This study aims to see if applying a sugar-free, sweet-tasting solution to a child's mouth before a dental injection helps reduce the pain of the shot. Researchers will compare the solution to plain water in 54 children aged 6-12 who need routine dental work. They will measure pain using the child's own report, a nurse's observation, and by tracking heart rate changes.
