Anesthesia reversal drug may prevent Post-Surgery urination problems

NCT ID NCT06398899

Summary

This study compared two drugs used to wake patients up from anesthesia after head and neck surgery. It focused on patients at high risk for trouble urinating after surgery. Researchers wanted to see if one drug (sugammadex) caused fewer urination problems than the standard drug combination (neostigmine/glycopyrrolate).
