Faster recovery after ERCP? new trial tests two reversal drugs

NCT ID NCT06136585

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares sugammadex and neostigmine to reverse muscle paralysis caused by rocuronium during ERCP, a procedure to treat bile duct issues. About 80 adults will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The goal is to see which drug helps patients recover faster and causes fewer side effects like nausea.
