Summary

This study is testing whether adding a 'care navigator' helps people who call a mental health help line get connected to treatment for drug or alcohol problems. It involves 360 patients at Kaiser Permanente in Washington. The goal is to see if this extra guidance makes it more likely people will start and stick with treatment.
