Summary
This study tests whether a small, FDA-approved heart monitor (the Medtronic LINQII) can also pick up brain signals when placed temporarily under the scalp. Ten adults undergoing brain surgery for standard care will have two devices implanted during their operation to record about 30 minutes of brain activity. The goal is simply to see if this approach works as a way to capture brain signals, not to treat any condition.
