First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether a cannabidiol (CBD) liquid placed under the tongue could help reduce anxiety in adults. 46 people with moderate to severe anxiety took either CBD or a placebo three times a day for four weeks, along with their usual treatments. Researchers measured changes in anxiety, mood, sleep, and thinking skills to see if CBD offered extra relief.
