First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether doing light, symptom-free exercise helps teens recover faster from a sports-related concussion. 113 adolescents were randomly assigned to either a sub-threshold exercise group or a stretching placebo group. Both groups received standard medical care and tracked their symptoms daily. Recovery was measured as being symptom-free for two days and being able to exercise to exhaustion without symptoms returning.
