Summary
This study tested whether a hyaluronic acid filler called STYLAGE® XXL is better than no treatment for adding volume to the mid-face area (cheeks). About 90 participants seeking cosmetic improvement were randomly assigned to receive the filler immediately or to wait 24 weeks. Researchers measured changes in facial volume and asked participants and doctors about aesthetic improvements over time.
