Scientists probe why young adults mix pot and cigarettes
NCT ID NCT07398443
Summary
This study aims to understand why young adults use both marijuana and tobacco together. Researchers will observe 120 participants, aged 18-25, who currently use both substances. The study involves lab sessions where researchers will measure how changes in price and exposure to cues (like seeing the substances) affect cravings and use patterns, with the goal of informing future quit-smoking programs.
