Scientists probe Snuff's secrets to curb addiction
NCT ID NCT06249984
Summary
This study aims to understand how the physical cut of tobacco and the chemical form of nicotine make moist snuff more addictive. Researchers will have 80 adult users from Appalachian regions try different snuff products during five visits to measure how these features affect use and appeal. The findings could provide evidence for new rules to make these products less addictive.
