Scientists probe hidden triggers of debilitating pregnancy pain
NCT ID NCT06785909
Summary
This study aims to understand why many pregnant women develop persistent back and pelvic pain. Researchers will observe over 200 women without current pain to see if factors like body awareness, fear of movement, and inflammation can predict who develops pain and why it lasts for years after birth. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better prevention and treatment strategies in the future.
