Researchers probe how well patients understand their therapy
NCT ID NCT07333794
Summary
This study aims to understand how well people receiving psychiatric care grasp what occupational therapy is and what they can realistically expect from it. It will also evaluate how effectively student therapists communicate during health education sessions and initial interviews. Researchers will develop new tools to measure patient understanding and student performance, then test them with about 139 participants, including patients, student therapists, and their supervisors.
