New device investigates digestive troubles after colon cancer surgery

Summary

This study aims to understand why some people experience chronic loose stools after colon cancer surgery. Researchers will use a new sampling device to examine bile acids and bacteria in the digestive system of 20 participants who have had this surgery. The goal is to learn how these digestive symptoms affect quality of life and what might be causing them.
