Summary
This study aimed to understand what children with hearing loss and their parents know about the cause of the condition. Researchers surveyed 156 children and their caregivers using questionnaires to see if they knew the reason for the hearing loss and how important that knowledge was to them. The goal is to use this information to improve how doctors communicate with and support families in the future.
