Scientists probe CAR-T's hidden toll on the brain
NCT ID NCT07375628
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients experience brain inflammation and thinking problems after receiving CAR-T cell therapy for cancer. Researchers will observe 10 high-risk patients, using brain scans and cognitive tests before, during, and after treatment to measure inflammation and changes in brain connections. The goal is to learn what causes these side effects to potentially find better ways to prevent or treat them in the future.
