Retrospective study sheds light on deadly brain bleed complications
NCT ID NCT06420011
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 123 adults who were hospitalized with a brain bleed while taking a common type of blood thinner (called a Factor Xa inhibitor). The goal was to understand what these patients were like, how they were treated, and what happened to them, especially in places where specific reversal drugs aren't available. The findings aim to help doctors make better decisions and improve patient safety in the future.
