Healthy volunteers undergo lung tests to see how common asthma drugs work
NCT ID NCT02476825
First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how a common asthma medicine (fluticasone propionate) changes gene activity and cell types in the airways of 30 healthy adults. Participants will use an inhaler for 4 weeks and have a bronchoscopy (a camera test of the lungs) before and after. The goal is to understand the drug's effects in people without lung disease, not to treat any condition.
