Can your mood affect your posture? new study investigates Mind-Body link in the spine

NCT ID NCT07024121

Summary

This study aims to understand if a person's psychological state and social background are connected to their spinal posture, even when they have no back disease. Researchers will collect X-ray images and questionnaire answers from 150 adults with healthy spines. The goal is to gather knowledge about this potential mind-body link, which could help explain why some people have different postures or respond differently to future treatments.
