First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding thinking exercises and rhythmic music to treadmill training helps people who had a stroke more than six months ago. 80 participants tried different combinations of treadmill walking, cognitive tasks, and music. The goal was to see if these methods improve walking automaticity, thinking skills, and the ability to do two things at once.
