Can a musical beat help stroke survivors walk better?
NCT ID NCT06392945
Summary
This study is testing a new rehabilitation method to help people who have had a stroke walk more easily in their daily lives. Researchers will compare three different training programs: treadmill walking alone, treadmill walking with a thinking task, and treadmill walking with both a thinking task and rhythmic music cues. The goal is to see which approach best improves walking ability, balance, and social participation for 90 participants who had a stroke more than six months ago.
