First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tested a wearable device that uses mild electrical stimulation to help people who have had a stroke walk better. Ten participants walked with and without the device on a treadmill and overground. The goal was to see if the stimulation improved walking speed and how evenly they pushed off with their weaker leg. The results will help design better rehabilitation tools for stroke recovery.
