New stroke treatment aims to stop clots from coming back

Summary
This study is testing if giving a second blood-thinning drug called tirofiban soon after the standard clot-busting treatment (tenecteplase) is safe and helps people recover better from a stroke. It aims to prevent new clots from forming in the brain after the initial treatment. The trial will involve 348 adults who have had a stroke and received the standard clot-busting therapy.
