New hope for stroke recovery: trial tests Two-Drug combo

NCT ID NCT07483281

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a drug called human urinary kallidinogenase to the standard stroke treatment (reteplase) helps patients recover better. It will involve 220 adults who have just had an ischemic stroke and can receive treatment within 4.5 hours. The main goal is to see if the combination leads to less disability 90 days after the stroke, without increasing the risk of dangerous bleeding.
