Experimental stroke treatment enters human testing

Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety of an experimental treatment called NCS-01 for people who recently had a stroke. Sixteen participants will receive the treatment directly into an artery in their neck within 48 hours of their stroke. Researchers will monitor for side effects and look for early signs of whether the treatment might help with recovery.
