New hope for Wake-Up strokes: major trial tests Game-Changing treatment

NCT ID NCT07475949

Summary

This study is testing whether a clot-busting drug called tenecteplase can help people who have a stroke but don't know when it started, such as when they wake up with symptoms. About 352 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug plus standard care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the drug leads to much better recovery 90 days after the stroke.
