Summary
This study is testing if adding a clot-busting drug directly into a blocked brain artery during a standard stroke surgery leads to better recovery. It will involve 530 stroke patients who have a blockage in a medium-sized brain artery. The main goal is to see if more patients can return to independent living 90 days after their stroke with this combined treatment.
