Summary

This study is testing if adding an intravenous antiplatelet drug (cangrelor) to the standard mechanical clot removal procedure helps people recover better after a major stroke. It will involve about 368 adults who have had a stroke within the last 24 hours and are eligible for the clot removal procedure. The main goal is to see if the drug helps more patients regain independence three months after their stroke.
