New stroke treatment aims to boost recovery when surgery Isn't enough

NCT ID NCT07471282

Summary

This study is testing whether giving a clot-busting drug directly into a brain artery after a stroke clot removal procedure can help patients recover better. It focuses on people who have had a major stroke where the initial surgery did not fully clear the blockage. The goal is to see if this extra step improves long-term outcomes and reduces disability without increasing the risk of bleeding.
