Breakthrough stroke treatment aims to boost recovery after clot removal
NCT ID NCT06949228
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a clot-busting medication directly into the blocked artery after mechanical clot removal improves recovery from severe stroke. The trial involves 132 adults who have had a major stroke caused by a large blocked artery in the brain. Researchers want to see if this additional treatment helps more patients return to normal or near-normal function within 90 days while monitoring for bleeding risks.
