Summary
This study tested whether a medication called Renexin CR could help people who recently had a stroke caused by a blood clot (not from the heart). It aimed to see if the drug could prevent the stroke from getting worse in the hospital and prevent another stroke within 90 days. The study compared Renexin CR against another standard treatment in nearly 500 patients.
