New stroke procedure aims for better First-Time success
NCT ID NCT07192029
Summary
This study is testing whether using a special balloon-tipped catheter during a stroke clot removal procedure helps restore blood flow more effectively on the first attempt. The trial will compare the balloon catheter approach to the standard method in 364 adults who have had a stroke due to a blockage in a major neck artery. The goal is to see if this technique leads to better recovery outcomes for stroke patients.
