Mirror and medicine: new hope for stroke recovery?
NCT ID NCT07331844
Summary
This study tested whether combining Botox injections with a simple mirror therapy exercise could better improve arm movement and reduce stiffness in people who had a stroke at least three months prior. Thirty participants received Botox and were split into two groups: one did mirror therapy, and the other did a sham therapy with clear glass. The goal was to see if the combination led to better, longer-lasting results than Botox alone.
