Can stopping hidden seizures help stroke patients walk and talk again?

Summary
This study aims to see if giving a seizure-prevention drug (levetiracetam) right after a brain bleed stroke helps people recover better. It will involve 580 adults who recently had this type of stroke. Researchers will compare recovery, measured by independence in daily activities six months later, between those who get the drug and those who get a placebo.
