Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common sedation drugs works better for patients having emergency surgery to remove a stroke-causing blood clot. Researchers will compare midazolam and dexmedetomidine in 810 stroke patients to see which leads to better recovery and fewer disabilities 90 days after the procedure. The goal is to improve standard care by identifying the safest and most effective sedation approach during this critical surgery.
