New score aims to catch hidden strokes in dizzy patients
NCT ID NCT06641050
Summary
This study is testing a simple scoring system called TriAGE+ to help emergency doctors better identify patients whose dizziness might actually be a sign of a stroke. Researchers will use the tool on about 841 patients coming to the emergency room with dizziness to see how well it predicts who has a stroke. The goal is to reduce dangerous misdiagnoses, as strokes that cause only dizziness are often missed.
