First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This observational study looks at whether a special analysis of brain angiograms, called DPR, can better predict stroke risk in people with moderate to severe narrowing of brain arteries. About 400 adults who have already had a minor stroke or warning signs will be followed for one year. The goal is to see if DPR is more accurate than standard measurements at identifying who is at highest risk for another stroke.
