First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at 258 adults with different types of heart muscle disease (cardiomyopathy) to see if special heart imaging could predict stroke or silent brain damage. Researchers measured blood flow inside the heart using ultrasound and MRI scans. The goal was to find links between blood flow patterns and hidden clots or brain injuries, which could help personalize stroke prevention in the future.
