New heart scan aims to predict silent strokes
NCT ID NCT04649034
Summary
This study tested a new imaging method to measure slow-moving blood inside the heart of people with weakened heart muscle. Researchers wanted to see if this blood stagnation is linked to having silent strokes or small blood clots in the heart. The goal is to better understand who is at highest risk for a future stroke.
