Virtual reality could make stroke recovery more engaging
NCT ID NCT06641336
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a mixed-reality system called RehAtt to help people recover movement after a stroke. Ten participants with one-sided weakness will use the system for arm, walking, and balance exercises. Researchers will interview them to see if the system is easy, motivating, and useful. The goal is to understand if patients like it, not yet to prove it works.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
RehAtt mixed reality system
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward a more engaging and effective way to do stroke rehabilitation at home or in clinics.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early study (10 people) focused only on patient opinions, not on measuring actual recovery. The results may not apply to all stroke survivors.
