Can watching videos at home help stroke survivors regain arm function?

NCT ID NCT06794749

Summary

This study tested a therapy for people who had a stroke 6-36 months ago. It compared two ways of delivering 'Action Observation Therapy,' where patients watch and then copy simple daily tasks. One group did this therapy in person, while another did it remotely via video call (telerehabilitation). The goal was to see if the video-based method could help improve arm function, daily activities, and quality of life as effectively as in-person sessions.
