Light-Based training shows promise for stroke recovery balance
NCT ID NCT06086314
Summary
This study tested whether adding specific reactive arm exercises to standard stroke rehabilitation improves trunk control, balance, and reduces fall risk. Thirty stroke survivors were randomly assigned to receive either standard rehab, standard rehab plus fast-touch light training, or standard rehab plus a 5-second hold light training. Researchers measured changes in balance, walking, and confidence to see which approach worked best.
