New Brain-Training therapy tested to fight stroke fatigue and improve arm use

NCT ID NCT06251661

Summary

This study tested a therapy called Cognitive Multi-sensory Rehabilitation (CMR) to see if it helps people recover arm function and feel less tired after a stroke. 40 stroke survivors received either standard physical therapy alone or standard therapy plus CMR for four weeks. CMR involves guided exercises that combine touch, sight, and thinking to retrain the brain and body.
