New rehab combo aims to get stroke survivors walking stronger
NCT ID NCT07249658
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two types of exercise—power training (fast, forceful movements) and high-intensity walking practice—can improve mobility and daily independence for people living with long-term effects of a stroke. Researchers will enroll 60 adults who had a stroke at least six months ago and can walk short distances independently. The goal is to find a more effective rehabilitation approach to help reduce disability and improve quality of life.
