Zap and restrain: new combo therapy aims to rewire Stroke-Damaged brains
NCT ID NCT07272239
Summary
This study is testing if a new combination of therapies can help people who have had a stroke regain arm function and improve their thinking and daily life. It will compare two groups of 50 participants: one receiving a special ear stimulation plus intensive arm training, and another receiving just the arm training. The goal is to see if stimulating a nerve through the ear can boost the brain's natural healing and make standard rehabilitation more effective for long-term stroke recovery.
