First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study compares three rehabilitation approaches for people who have had a stroke: mirror therapy, cognitive orientation to daily occupational performance (CO-OP), and conventional occupational therapy. 45 adults with subacute or chronic stroke will receive 4 weeks of therapy (5 sessions per week) plus robotic balance training. Researchers will measure motor function, daily living skills, and quality of life at the start, after treatment, and at a 3-month follow-up to see which approach works best.
