First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two types of electrical stimulation can help people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago regain arm and hand movement. 65 participants will receive training with a robotic device that uses electrical stimulation to activate muscles, plus stimulation along the spine. The goal is to improve motor function and reduce stiffness, not to cure the stroke.
