Can your recovery score predict if you go home after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07502326
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 150 stroke patients to see if their improvement in rehab was linked to where they went after leaving the hospital. Researchers checked if gains in walking, balance, thinking, and daily task scores made patients more likely to go home instead of to another care facility. The goal is to help doctors better plan for a patient's discharge and support their return to the community.
